Tribe Body focuses on teaching the art of dance and
developing dance skills for people of all ages.
We have found that when people are taught the language of dance,

Tracy Flaherty is a New Jersey native who began dancing at the age of three. She started her dance experience at the Irene Fokine School in Ridgewood, NJ where a lifelong passion and commitment to the art of dance was born.
Tracy’s dance training includes the Irene Fokine School of Ballet; Joffrey School of Ballet, The American Ballet School; and the American Dance Machine. Tracy’s professional credits include being an Equity member with the American Dance Machine where she was under the direction of the famed Broadway musical choreographer and performer, Lee Theodore. Other credits include commercials, movies, and special events such asb ABC Omnibus Theatre, and the Chita Riveria Tribute. Over the years Tracy has performed with Dick Cavet, Paul Sorvino, Gwen Verdon, Lucy Arnez, Anne Reinking, Chita Riveria and Syd Charisee.

I love everything about Tribe! It is a sisterhood of women whose passion is dance. We are here for each other to celebrate the good times & to be there for each other during the challenging times in life! Throughout it all, Tracy and all of her teachers do everything possible to take care of us physically, socially & emotionally. Currently to survive this situation, she has reached out to us through Virtual Dance classes. They are truly our silver lining in our days. I can’t thank Tracy, Sky, Sophia & Marie enough for their creativity, patience and dedication to being there for all of us. We love & appreciate all of them!! I’ve been coming to Tribe for about 7 years now. The classes are fun and energetic. The studio is clean, and beautifully decorated for a zen environment. They have done a great job continuing to provide fun classes during this unfortunate pandemic. I wish I could attend more classes, it really is a joyful place.

Yesterday was my daughters first class at Tribe. The studio was clean, everyone was friendly and helpful, and she loved the class!
I really enjoyed both classes I’ve taken and plan to come back to take more! The instructors were great. I definitely recommend.
Quality of instruction; fitness level of instructors; full hour length of classes; musical choices; pacing of the classes; level of challenge is correct for a 50ish woman who is a life long gym rat who does Zumba, Step, and weight training daily who seeks instructors that are “a level above”; professionalism – no hard sales pitch, classes start and end on time; audio and video are high quality for Zoom classes; owner is so dedicated to the business – efficiently handles communications for Zoom links herself. OK to share my name but not my business association. I did not check the box because of the business restriction.
Excellent teachers, excellent choreography, excellent vibe, and so inviting, welcoming, and challenging for dancers and non-dancers alike! Best studio ever!

The Tribe Body atmosphere was so inviting from the moment I walked in and of course my amazing aerial instructor Amanda who teaches Thursday nights at 7pm is sweet,calming,and great in showing entire class how to just have fun! I would definitely recommend this facility and sign up for more classes! Noi P.

Tracy I love this studio and all of the teachers. My only comment is that for people who work during the week a night class would be great. Now that Cindy is teaching on Saturday’s ( I love her) I don’t get to take your Jazz class at all. I know the pandemic has been rough but it would be great if the Wednesday class could get added back on
We’ve recently joined Tribe and I’ve been very impressed by the teachers and the staff in general. Very welcoming, professional, warm and friendly. My daughter loves her classes!
I thought the dancers and itinerary were awesome. My daughter felt a little isolated however, and while I realize it’s hard to bond with people over a few days, perhaps there could be some more interaction or making sure the kids are having fun together and not just in their own little cliques.

I love TRIBE! I have been going to the studio for 8 years. It’s always a great workout. Such a beautiful/clean space too! Love dancing with my friends there. I miss going to the studio so much (can’t go right now due to Corona/quarantine) but the online dance classes are keeping me connected and sane. Tracy and Sophia are amazing! They always give it their all – nothing compares to a great dance workout. Thank you for ALL you do!

I love going to Tribe! It is the only serious dance studio for adults. Have been going there for years & learned so much. Always feel challenged with a variety of dance styles & options such as Latin & Rockette jazz.
